Is Vortex binoculars made in China?
Vortex does not name a country of manufacture for its binoculars on its website, so check the country-of-origin marking on the binocular or its box for the model you are buying.

Headquarters, design, testing and warranty service do not establish where a binocular is made.
Check the country label and ask the maker for written confirmation of the model number and production version before choosing on origin. A claim about a riflescope or another product cannot establish binocular manufacture. See the distinction between US branding, assembly and manufacture.
Vortex Binoculars Manufacturing Location FAQs
Where are Vortex binoculars manufactured?
Vortex’s own website does not say. It describes the company as headquartered in Barneveld, Wisconsin and says on its warranty page that products are designed, engineered, pre-inspected and serviced in its facility, which is not the same as where they are made. Check the country-of-origin marking on the binocular or its box for the exact model you are buying.
Is the Vortex VIP warranty the same for every binocular?
Yes. Vortex says the VIP warranty repairs or replaces any damaged or defective Vortex product at no charge, no matter how it happened or where you bought it. Loss, theft, deliberate damage and cosmetic wear that does not affect performance are excluded (Vortex VIP warranty).
How can I check where a particular Vortex binocular was made?
Look for the country-of-origin marking on the binocular body or the box, and ask the seller if the listing does not show it. Vortex’s phone line, 1-800-4VORTEX on its warranty page, can answer for a specific model number.
